The berry of the Victoria variety is shiny white, large and ovoid. The medium sized bunch is winged and weighs about 500 gr. It is an early maturing cultivar with an attractive appearance. It has no competition at harvest time. Victoria is grown also in the Mediterranean and Marmara regions of Turkey. Harvest at interim periods make it appealing for growers.

Cardinal is an exquisite fresh consumption grape with its unique fragrance, aroma and appearance. The berries are reddish-purple, round and quite large (7gr+); the bunch is also large (~500-600 gr). Regular pruning improves quality. Leave thinning should be done with care to prevent sunburn. It is prone to mildew, powdery mildew, botrytis bunch rot, fanleaf virus and frostbite. Temperate climates that allow early maturation must be preferred.

The bunch is conical, compact and weighs over 1000 gr. Red Globe matures later and requires hard pruning for consistent yield. The spherical berry is red-purple in colour and the size is very large (12-14 gr). This is a high yield cultivar which is demanded by export markets.

This is a superior quality, fresh consumption variety also known as Sugraone. The bunch is large (470 gr), compact to very compact. The berries are yellowish-green, large (5 gr), oval and seedless. Pruning must be long / semi-long. Yield per 1000 m2 is moderate (between 1200-1400 kg). It is an early maturing variety which ripen in late July, just before the Sultana.

Also known as Sultaniye Seedless, this is Turkey’s distinctive grape variety famous around the world. 90% of grapes grown in the Manisa region are Sultaniye variety. It is quite selective in terms of climatic requirements. This is why Sultaniye is more or less endemic to Turkey’s Manisa region, with the exception of smaller plantations in Denizli and Izmir. The famed sultana raisins can only be produced from this variety of grape. The berries are oval, seedless and greenish yellow in colour. The berry is juicy, fleshy and crisp with 100 berries weighing around 120-180 gr. The bunch is winged, conical and moderately compact, weighing around 250-500 gr. This variety is very sensitive to the cold. Growers cultivate Sultana grapes in three harvests: early maturing, moderate maturing and late maturation in greenhouse conditions.
