Turkey is the world’s largest sultana raisin producer and exporter, accounting for nearly 45% of global sultana exports. 65% of grapes produced in Turkey are seeded varieties with the remaining from seedless varieties. In Turkey, seedless grape production for drying is concentrated in the Aegean Region, particularly in Manisa, Turgutlu, Salihli, Kemalpaşa and Çivril.
